Kourtney Kardashian has recently been awarded ‘Fashion Icon’ status from the Fashion Bloggers of the Twittersphere and it’s clear to see why. Her style overhaul since having her babies, Mason Dash and Penelope Scotland, has a touch of boho mixed with tailored luxe.

What a designer overload! But what a dream outfit! Stylight is my new obsession – it has everything you wish you had that you’ve seen on your fave celebs and then shows you where to get it! Knowing how much it all is may give you goosebumps at first but at least you know how much to save up! Plus, if you’re in no position to be having a gander at £800 purses then don’t fret – there are more promising brands on there too, such as AX Paris, TFNC and Vero Moda.

So, do what I just did…stare lovingly at the Fendi bag and Prada Glasses then shop at AX Paris! All shopping fixes are fixed!

The Kardashian Empire Hits London!

Mild hysteria and frantic fangirling owned my Twitter timeline yesterday as Kourtney Kardashian, Scott Disick and Kris Jenner touched down in London Town avec le Disick babies.

Scott was joined by long-time lover Kourtney and kids Penelope, 10 months old,  and Mason, 3, while he prepares for his appearances around the capital this month:

Hosting at Anaya, London – April 25th 2013

Hosting at Club 195, Essex – April 27th 2013

&

then he will be hosting a Thames boat party on June 15th 2013

Checking in and out of London Heathrow Airport the Kardashian/Disick/Jenner family clocked up some impressive Louis Vuitton luggage space:

Only spending one day on England capital city of London, there’s not much time to dilly dally – and dilly dally they did not! Slipping into something chic and comfy the fam headed to world-renowned toy store Hamleys and ate at top eatery Novikov.

“It’s True!! Kanye & I Are Expecting A Baby”

Kongratulations, Kimye!

New Years Eve was a fabu day to be part of the K-Klan this year as the superstar finally confirmed her and Kanye West’s pregnancy on her website after the rapper blurted it out on stage in Atlanta.

Almost a year after Kourtney and Scott revealed they were expecting their baby girl, Penelope, Kim is now 12 weeks along with her own bundle of joy.

Of course, the Twittersphere responded almost immediately, including Kim’s mum, Kris Jenner who tweeted, “Oh BABY BABY BABY!!” ( @KrisJenner )

Her sisters were just as eager to jump on the Twitter-Wagon;

“Been wanting to shout from the rooftops with joy and now I can! Another angel to welcome to our family. Overwhelmed with excitement!” – @KourtneyKardash

“KIMYE!!!!!” – @KhloeKardashian

After what has seemed a rollercoaster of a love life, Kim finally seems settled and after years of friendship her and Kanye are now set to start a family.

Opening up about the preganancy, Kim told ET Online “When people say that pregnancy is fun and they love it I would have to  disagree…”

She continued, “I heard it’s all worth it, so I’m looking forward to that…[Pregnancy is] about learning about your body, but I’ve felt really good.”

However good Kim may be feeling, fans may be disappointed to find out that she is NOT planning on giving birth in front of the cameras that usually documents her life for reality show ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’.

The E! Network super-boss Suzanne Kolb may be trying to change that though, saying: “Like so many Kardashian fans, we love it when this close-knit family gets even bigger… We look forward to sharing the joy as they prepare for more diapers…and, without a doubt, more fabulous baby wear!”

With Kanye West and Kim Kardashian as parents, Mason and Penelope may have competition!

Countryfile: Cooking, Kardashians & Creepy Villages

Having just returned from what seemed like the Village of Death, today I’m obsessing over what just happened!

Having rented a cottage for the week, Dan and I did our first ever weekly grocery shop (for those who don’t know, we still live with my Mum, who has a household system for things such as cooking and laundry…but she’s the only one involved in said system) and felt proud to only spend £8 (using a month’s worth of Tesco Clubcard coupons)!

My vision for this week: road trip, cosiness, cuddles, walkies (we took Princess along for the ride) and cooking.

Reality: We arrived in the dark, in the village of Thorndon (probably the world’s darkest village), in the rain and without a human welcoming.

The reality of our arrival sent the ladies on the trip into somewhat of a sulk; can you spot the unhappy Bichon Frise?

Obviously I didn’t take a photo of my own sulkiness because a) it wasn’t pretty and b) I was busy planning how to get the best out of this weird sitch.

I didn’t come up with much, which actually worked out for the best. Holidays with me usually include a basic plan of what I want to do (in my head it is a precisely timed schedule) but I decided to take a chill pill on this trip. Sort of…

The fact that the cottage we rented was in the front yard of the owner’s farmhouse wouldn’t have bothered me as much if they actually introduced themselves at some point during our stay. Not only did we not get a ‘hello’, we didn’t even get as much as a wave as they glared at us as they walked back and forth from work/school/dog walks, etc.

Sulk number 2 was averted with a tactical closing of the curtains. Out of sight, out of mind. Wonderful…

I learnt LOTS about myself this week, also…

1) I can cook and will (occasionally) cook! Not exactly the healthiest of meals but I managed sausages and steamed veggies (including boiled potatoes, thank you very much!), a killer Tikka Massala curry and a delish tuna and chicken pasta bake! Although entry level recipes, I’m still exceptionally proud of myself as I even managed to wash up afterwards.

2) I need pyjamas. Currently, my pyjama arrangements consist of mismatched velour tracksuits from Zax about 5 years ago, odd Primarni sets which are not warm or comfortable; or old underwear. All of which are not suitable for situations in which you are staying in someone else’s property.

I hear you asking why I suddenly care about a section of one’s wardrobe that makes up about 1% of one’s overall wardrobe space…

Enter Kourtney Kardashian:

She’s known for her cute, on-screen pyjama style and I want a piece of this matching, silky, cosy heaven. I have my heart set on 3 pyjama sets so far:

This adorbs doggy set from River Island (rather apt, too, I thought), £30:

Def pulling a Kourtney with these and opting for a huge pattern. I can’t think of anything better than multiple pink elephants! Also, for £19 at Very they are pretty much as beautiful as bargains come!

Luxury pyjamas seem to me a little bit pointless…unless they look like this. These Wildfox PJs are from ASOS and will cost £100… buuuttttt… they make you look and feel super trendy. WIN! Where’s my credit card??

Moving on…

3) I learnt that country villages are possibly some of the creepiest places to live in the world. Our humble abode was situated in the quaint little village of Thorndon, in the rolling countryside of Suffolk. Nearest towns are Eye and Debenham, both of which boast a nice church and a co-op. Not much else around unless you trek over 20 miles to Ipswich or Norwich.

No street lighting after dark (which means after about half past 3 in the afternoon at this time of the year) meant that taking the dog for her after dinner poop was unimaginably chilling and the fact that there are no pavements adds a touch of danger to the proceedings. Not that we needed to go far, nothing to do and nothing to see.

4) Lastly, I learnt that Helen Flanagan annoys the living crap out of me, Hugo Taylor is a legend and Ashley Roberts is not only delicious sans make-up, she should also WIN this year’s I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here!

Quick-fire reasons for the above statement:

“I LOVE SNAKES! Oh, it’s coming towards me… oh…OH! I’M A CELEBRITY GET ME OUT OF HERE NOW!!” – Fake-ass Helen failing yet another trial.

“I’d like to produce films, get into television… and I’d actually like to own my own Formula 1 team *cheeky smug side smile*” – Hugo after taking career advice from Rosemary Shrager, of all people!

“We can work on that!” – Ashley after teaching Rosemary Shrager the Pussycat Dolls’ ‘Don’t Cha’ dance, forever creating one of the funniest moments of this year’s series so far

“Who used my CLEAN towel? Where’d my clean towel go??” – Ashley outing Helen as the selfish thief she really is…

Right after she earned 8 meals for camp in her bushtucker trial! Also, Ashley is extremely FIT 🙂

Soooo, in conclusion, this week I’ve learnt some stuff. Not exactly huge life lessons but I suppose learning to cook counts as a big one. Also, one does need pyjamas.

Kardashian Meltdown

So much is being reported these days I’m finding it increasingly difficult to actually Keep Up With The Kardashians.

Khloé has been rumoured to be joining the X Factor USA for quite some time now and everyday I see new stories with the same headlines on them:

‘Khloé Joins Mario Lopez As X Factor Host?’

‘Simon Picked Khloé?’

‘Are Khloé & Mario New X Factor Hosts?’

I DON’T KNOW! Why are these people asking me? I’m looking to them for the news not the questions. Anyway, according to The National Enquirer, the delay may have something to do with Kris, Kim and Kourtney.

In a nutshell…

Kim and Kourtney apparently have a bee in their bonnet about Khloé’s hypocrisy of branching out on her own. When Kim went off to do her own fragrances, TV appearances and other lines of work Khloé vented publicly of her resentment. And according to the American mag, Kourtney feels let down by Khloé because she feels if her sister takes on the X Factor job she will have no time to commit to the new spin-off show they are currently filming. Furthermore, Kris is getting tired of their bickering but is obviously encouraging Khloé’s X Factor involvement as her momager (so she gets her 10% cut)!

Nicht gut.

Somehow I doubt that Mr Cowell is patiently tapping his foot and ordering another coffee whilst waiting for the sisters to work out their little problems. He loves a bit of X Factor attention and suspense to keep people interested. It’s probably all a done deal and they’re all sitting back laughing at us lot who are keeping tabs and waiting for the announcement.

But imagine…

Khloé as host. Britney as a judge. This may be the first X Factor season I’ll actually be into!

In more Kardashian news…It’s all getting a bit weird with ‘Kimye’.

According to an article in the Inquisitr yesterday, Kimye are cooling off their relationship as the constant scrutiny from the press is getting between them. Hokayy. Whilst I don’t believe that’s any reason for two of the most famous people in the world to ‘cool off’ their relationship, I still think this is a good idea mainly for the sake of Kim’s image.

Since Kim and Kayne have been joined at the hip he has been her stylist and advisor (for a reason I can’t quite make up yet). I hope Kim goes back to styling herself because shoes like this are happening to her and I feel sorry for her;

So, after cooling off her realtionship with Kanye, Kim has got a lot closer to someone super cute, super adorable and… super fluffy? Meet Mercy;

That’s right! Kim has a new pussy…

Moving on…

Khloe and Lamar celebrated their 3-year wedding anniversary in simple style by attending the same restuarant in which they had their rehearsal dinner in! Lamar said to E! that they ‘hung out there for a little bit and went home’. I won’t start gushing about how much I love these two, again, so I’ll just say congrats and, again, move on…

And lastly, we have Kourtney News. Rumours are rife that she and Scott are on the rocks for like the 100th time and he’s not involved in the Kardashian Khristmas Kard…blah blah blah… but what I want to know is…

Where has Kourt’s sense of style gone since giving birth to baby Penelope?

Kardashian Kollection FINALLY Gets To The UK!

Literally trying my best not to FUREAK OUT but I just saw on Khloé’s Facebook page that Kardashian Kollection is here!!!

Kim, Kourtney and Khloé have teamed up with Dorothy Perkins to bring their clothing line over to the UK as early as Autumn this year. FINALLY I don’t have to pay more for shipping than the actual product!

Being such a hardcore fan-girl over in the UK is difficult, especially when everyone you fawn over are exclusive to the US! So I’m soooo excited that this is happening!

Khloé released this statement on her website earlier today;

“I am beyond excited to finally be able to share this exciting news with my dolls overseas — my sisters and I are launching Kardashian Kollection at over 250 Dorothy Perkins stores across the UK! WOOOOHOOOOOOOO! This is a huge step for us and for our line and we could not be happier about it. I am literally counting down the minutes until I get to make my very first visit to the UK and meet some of our fabulous fans there :)”

Credit cards nationwide will be getting a battering come Autumn!

Welcome To The World Penelope Scotland Disick!

I am H U G E L Y excited to at last blog about the birth of Penelope Scotland Disick, the second child to Kourtney Kardashian and long-term partner Scott Disick.

 

She seemed pregnant for what seemed like a lifetime but finally, Kourtney has given birth to a bouncing baby girl at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre early yesterday.

In a statement, Kourtney had this to say;  “Scott and I are overjoyed to welcome our precious angel Penelope Scotland Disick into our lives. We are forever blessed. Mommy and baby are resting comfortably.”

Kourtney and Scott’s first daughter and sister to Mason Dash (now 2), Penelope Scotland weighed in at 7lb 4oz and was delivered naturally.

Remembering Mason’s birth as one of the most popular episodes of the Kardashian reality show, we are still waiting to hear if Penelope’s delivery will air in the future. From what I remember though, strong Kourt had no trouble with little Mase as she actually pulled him out herself and remained cool, calm and casual about the whole situation in true Kourtney-style!

For the moment, I’m sure mother and father’s main priority is to welcome their beautiful baby daughter to the ever-expanding Kardashian clan.
